Just talked to Snuffy this morning. Well he managed to wait until the last minute Sunday evening to shoot a nice 6pt with his bow. 30 Yd shot right in the meat locker. He said he would send pictures, when i get them will see about getting it posted. Said it did not have brow tines. just 6pts..way to go snuffy.

Wait for me !! (cuz I'm slow)

No deer for me this season (only got out 3 times with the bow)

I did see 7 deer in range on the last gun weekend, but it was for does only, and of course all 7 were bucks. Only about 60 yards away too -- woulda been pot shots, and I think I coulda nailed 2 with the limited escape routes they had.

Anywho, I finally got bored enough to whack my very first coyote ever with the ole slug gun at 175 yds. Let it fly when he had his head in the snow sniffing out mice. Was 37 pounds, and I kept the tail.

Even got to see some fairly rare frozen fog on the way home. Very different structure from freezing rain. Looked like thorns made of ice crystals.
