Well, all the cool people were there... so they don't need a report.

I'll get all one of the pictures up... but you're killing me here... I have a pile of work I'm trying to get caught up on and I have family over so bear with me.

Okay...

There were only 5 bowfishing boats. (There were 3,512 speedboats. )

The Le Roy boyz went all the way up to Parnell.. that turned out to be a bad plan. They only got two carp because the water was just too muddy.

The rest of us just hung around on the main portion of the lake and the bowfishing was pretty good. It was better earlier before the speed boats stirred everything. Visibility started really good. (more than a foot)

There were a lot of pull offs. Most carp were hanging around the submerged timber and once shot the fish were masters at wrapping the line twice around every branch.

Still, we ended up with a pile of 121 carp.

Jarad won big ten, Kendall and I won big carp.

I don't remember everyones weights. We had 50lbs even for our 'big' 10. I think our big fish was just under 6 lbs. Jarad actually had biggest fish, but you can only win one or the other.

I have to add this too.

I thought maybe Ken Sharp showed up with a new boat.

yes, that is a short bus pulling a boat.

I also tried to take a picture of a bald eagle that was flying around overhead but my little camera just wouldn't do it. There was also an osprey out there. Kinda cool.
