I am getting this out to the clubs in the area and hope ya all can make it to this benefit shoot we are holding next year.

The Bowfishing Association of Southern Illinois will be hosting a Benefit tournament next year (2010) on
May 22nd and 23rd at Rend Lake. Its going to be a big benefit tourney for breast cancer and we are going to work with the Susan G Komen Foundation.
The BASI would like to get all of the clubs from surrounding areas to add this tourney to their schedules for next year, the more participation in this the better. Yes I know its not till next year and it’s a ways off but we are starting to work on this tourney now so we can get the word out and promote it like it needs to be promoted.
We are also going to make it a weekend thing for the whole family. It will start in the morning of the 22nd we will have shooting ranges set up, a silent auction, a fish fry among other things. We will start the tourney in the evening and it will run till the morning of the 23rd with a weigh-in and awards given out.
We are working on getting the participation of local and national companies to not only sponsor but also donate to the great cause.
