August 15 - Rough Fish Round up at Lake Shelbyville.
Saturday 7:00pm to Sunday 7:00am.
Heaviest 20 fish (any legal species) format.
BAA Sanctioned event.
$100 per Boat, Max 3 people per team.
Optional $10 per boat smallest gar competition (Length).
100% Pay Out.
First Place Guaranteed $1000.
We will be giving away door prizes.
Fish disposal will be provided
Eagle Creek Boat Ramp.

Finished the Smallest Gar trophy I donated for the Rough Fish Round Up. Looks Good.

Checked the water level for Lake Shelbyvile for Aug 10;

Normal summer pool 599.7

8-10-09 level 606.86

At least its not 15 feet over. Should be a fun tournament.

Anyone planning on coming to the Rough Fish Round Up. We have a bunch of door prizes one being a fully rigged barracuda it comes with a retriever rest and 2 arrows. It should be a great shoot hope to see everyone there.

This tournament is 100% payout with $1000 guaranteed to first place. If there are 25 boats in the tourney 2nd place would get $500 third $400 fourth $300 fifth $200 sixth $100.

We have a rebuilt prop put on the boat and a shiny new pontoon section replacing the impaled one.

We have one genny that's acting up that we'll be looking at today and then we should (hopefully) be ready for the tourny.

Anybody been out on Shelbyville lately? Any fish in there?

Alrighty, after disabling the oil sensor the genny seems to running fine.

Well, we have gotten yet another case of TERRIBLE luck. Went out the other night and got just past the wake zone at Eagle Creek and i hammered on it. Got up on plane and got past the breakwater and then it just started crapping out on me. Ended up dying and not starting back up so we just trolled around the area for the night. I definatly don't trust the motor now for a tournament. Hate to say it, but it looks like we will be sitting this one out. Did talk to the Shelby boys for a while that night though.
