Default Newby

Looks like i will be taking out a first timer this Saturday. A hunting buddy of mine from Georgia and his family will be stoping by friday evening and spending the weekend with us. Well of course I'm taking him bow fishing on the Wabash on Saturday. Have been telling him for years how much fun it is. So finally will be getting the deed done. Look out fishies...

Well my newby is a natural. He shot his first fish ever on his 3rd shot. Got a nice 9# buffalo, then shot a 14# grass carp. another buffalo and the largest fish of the day a nice 18# 4 oz grassie. We spent quite a bit of time trying to get his daughter into a fish. She is 13, got 5 shots, but she was shooting my grandson's old bow it just does not have enough umph for any distance. The fish were sucking on the scum but were spooky. My buddy Mark, love it and had a great time. Good enough that we are going again tomorrow. Suppost to be 84 and sunny wiht 5mp winds.
