Default Sunset Lake

I am going to get out to Sunset Lake in Carlock tomorrow afternoon (6-24) around 2:15.

One of these years someone has to pull something out of there... I stuck a nice common there once and had it 2ft on shore; arrow pulled out flopped twice and went back in....Other than that I think the only thing that came out of there was a catfish... (not me )

If anyone would like to meet me out there would be fun....walkin the banks...Can't get my boat on there; no ramps...

Ken

If I weren't so swamped with work, I'd go with you.

Good luck. Those grass carp totally have our number. [&o]

Well it is the same ole story....I sat there for 3 hours and saw nothing but catfish, bluegills, and bass. Finally I saw one lonely Grassie. I shot and connected only to have an arrow pull out seconds later....Oh well, at least I drew blood.....

Maybe we need to be out there at daybreak?

Well, at least you got to feed the catfish.

Yea, Ken, I lost my honey hole too. It was a 60 acre private lake that belonged to an association, so everything had to get approved by the board. My buddy who lives on the lake and was the board president last year got me access but only with him in the boat. that's cool. Well this ole 88 year old fart says he has a buddy that video's stuff like that and they want him to come and video him shooting the grassies and give them a video of it. So I'm out the door like a ole wet dog. doubt if it ever happens. The sad fact is they want the grassies out, gone, bye, bye. Oh well it was good for one 14 pounder last month..
