Default Got some more bigheads today

The weather didnt help us at all with it being cloudy but we still found a spot and got a few. If I would have took my boat with me I could have done a little better but Im having fun shooting from the bank. Ended up with 1 Spotted gar 2 Silvers and 7 Bigheads.

Nice shootin!

The shirt is too appropriate. "The Punisher" would be a great bowfishing boat name in soooooo many ways.

You shot those from the shore!@? wow. Nice shooting. Are you able to get real close to the fish or do you have to make pretty long shots?

Yeah I shot them all from shore. A few were long shots but I was able to stand on a log right at the bank to get some elevation and they were swiming past me within 5 feet and I was able to get shots off. Most of them were pop shots cause of how fast they were going by it was hard to time them. The bigheads I shot the day before were all real close shots. I would say within 10-15 feet. They were feeding on some water that was draining into the river and were schooled up by the hundreds. Hopefully the rain will bring the water back up to where it was wed so they will be back in the same spot next week. If so I am going to hammer them again. I also found a nice spot for some decent size grassies. Thanks Christine. I like that shirt aswell. I may end up getting a few more just like it and bowfishing in those shirts only.
