did anybody get out and shoot fish saturday night?

with as warm as it was all weekend surely somebody shot some fish over the weekend. I got invited but i had a date... they didnt get to go anyway because newton lake has a 25 hp limit and they were running a 28 hp fan. conservation officers said no way. crazy but rules are rules. gota change the sticker on the motor now

Dave, K and I went out on Sunday. We got 13 carp. (14 if you count the one that fell off the arrow, flopped around on the deck for a bit and then fell back into the lake)

It was really foggy so seeing the fish was kind of tough... not to mention Clinton is still really murky. Even though the water wasn't real cold, the boat deck sure did ice up.

All three of us were discussing listing the motor size in Liters. That ought to confound enough people to get onto some of the restricted lakes.

Sounds like you had some fun in the fog. I guess thats the good thing about knowing the guy that does all my stickers. I have the fastest 40hp johnson I have ever seen. Im hoping to get out soon to stick a few fish.

I can't wait to get out. I've been jonesin' for a while and everytime I talk to Mark it gets worse. Good for you guys.

This is a badass picture! It could be on the cover of one of the magazines. You should have grabbed the camera for this one. I'd still blow it up and frame it.
