Hey just wonderin if iwas supposed to re-up my membership on Jan. 1st or does the membership run for a year from when you signed up. Thanks,Clint

I believe membership is now due 1 year after your anniversary date.
How did your deck and light project come out? Got it done? Any pics yet?
Where do you bowfish at? Sangamon River? Doing any winter bowfishing at the hot tub at Sangchris?

I thought Christine said that had changed. To make it more simple for everyone she said they were going to go from Jan to Jan.....Christine????

As outgoing secretary, I would like to see the club go back to the January to January membership. We have now tried the one year from the time of signing up and it is a real headache now that we have over 100 paying members over the last two years. Sending out postcards to remind people to rejoin is not very cost effective and a LOT more work.

I'm open to however you guys want to do it.

The intial reason for changing from Jan 1 to Dec 31st was because we had so many non joiners at our shoots. (most of which are after June 1) They didn't want to pay $20 for a 6 month or less membership which I can understand.

We might consider pro-rating the membership after a certain point in the year although I don't think $20 is a lot to begin with, one thing for sure is this last system didn't work very well.

I think the Jan 1st to Dec 31st is a great idea that way everyone knows when they have to renew their membership.
