Judd, I would love to wack 3 yotes with one shot. Right now just getting to wack one would be great. In fact a buddy and i are headed out tomorrow evening just to give it a bit of a try. In fact as we speak i only have 3 rounds left. Time to get to some re-loading.

John,
What kind of .270 do you have and how big a scope? Isn't a .270 a little small for crows? Maybe you need a 7mm or 300 win mag. Just kidding.

Uncle Dave, I have a pre-64 Winchester model 70. the scope is a weaver 4-16. I got it (the scope) when i lived out west for those long shots. It is a little too big for around here, but i can turn it down. The .270 is a great all around gun. you can load a 90 or 100 gr bullet hot enough to make a real good varmet round. Yep, it may be a little big, but look at the benefits. 3 crows with one shot try that with a .223.
