Default Hawglight Marauder

I saw the new Hawglight on eBay. Anybody evaluate this product? It's pricey, but I think it is brighter than the old model and it uses less batteries - it has an LED.

The only drawback may be how far it sticks out - I would be afraid thestring would catch on it after a shot.

I bought one of the original ones. And never used it. I adapted it to mound at the end of my reel seat. Had to lengthen the switch wire. It always did seem a little dim to me too. Still laying on my shelf in the garage.

I really liked my old one for shooting bigheads. Was much nicer than using a handheld spotlight.

I'll be buying one of the new ones. It is pricey but supposed to be brighter and have a better battery life.

If nothing else, I'll have to go hog hunting with it.

Christine, will we have these for the Deer and Turkey classic or will we be re-selling these for the club, to be known as the BigHead-lite?

They're pretty expensive to have in stock but if there is interest I can call Kelly or Eddie and get some in.

I'll buy one this week and evaluate itso we can get a better idea about them. That cool?

I'll be picking up a couple of the marauders at the ATA show next weekend.

If they look good for bowfishing we'll have a couple for saleat the Deer Classic booth.

If you can't wait that long, look here: www.razorbackoutfitters.com
