Default Team Short Bus...LOOK OUT!

I was down in South Texas visiting with a buddy of mine of the 4th of July, hunting hogs and anything else we could find. Well, I'm a sucker for frog legs, so we hit someranch ponds mid day. It was a good chance to scout hog wallows anyway.

If this doesn't qualify me for for the title "short bus" I'm not sure what does. And of course, my buddy just had to break out the camera -- my camera nonetheless.

Notice the two arrows stacked together, which missed about an inch or two high. Those are broadheads, by the way: my backup hog arrows. I know it's a bit of a poke on a bullfrog, but I've definately got this one figured out by now, huh?

Nope...three stikes, have a seat. [:@]

Eventually the frog left, probably either insulted or laughing his butt off at me. He earned it though...stupid frog.

Oh, and arrow on the left is missing a feather because, well, I cut the dang thing off with my second shot.Insult to injury.

We did end up with a pile of frog legs for lunch, but this guy's still hopping and swimming around, probably telling his surviving friends about some idiot who boogered up three good arrows and never hit anythingbut water and mud.

Still had fun though.

I would've been disapointed in you if you hadn't taken those shots. I still remember those little bullfrogs in the rocks at Banner Marsh...

How many fish arrow points did we beat into submission on that trip?

Hop on and take a seat...your bus passhas beenvalidated.

That's some pretty damn good shooting there, miss or not. I still can't figure how you can aim so well shooting instinctive.

Kendall,

I think we must have ruined 2 or 3 perfectly good fish points trying to shoot those frogs. And the thing is, I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Christine,

Light refraction! That's my excuse.
