Decided to hit Clinton for our IndependenceNight bowfishing.
The visibilty at Clinton is a little better. About 5-8" depending on where we were.
Carp where pretty much absent but there were buffs up in the ends of the coves. Not a ton of them, but enough to keep things interesting. They're doing the 'charging buff' thing. Sometimes they'll slam theboat other times they're going full bore away. They really move and it makes the shootinga ton of fun.
We ended up with 7 buffs, 2 quillbacks and 3 common carp.

first buff of the night

Kendall scores on a long buffalo

Big fish of the night.
We saw one really big buff but he was too fast for us.
We also had a muskrat escort in one cove. He actually would come up so close to the boat that I could pet him with my arrow. At first he'd spin around and bite at the arrow but after awhile he just ignored it and continued to swim next to the pontoon. He even went between the pontoons at one point. Weird little critter.
