Well I took my buddy Brett and his son Logan bowfishing at a lake by us called holiday shores today, lots of big carp there..Well Logan and I are walking on the edge and we spot a BIG one, long shot for him, but I didnt take my bow, I was guiding!!He took the shot and WHAM it hit its mark, it fought and pulled line out of his reel and he fought back and won..42 lbs..Officiallly weighed!!!! 13 years old...WOW..I am like a proud step bowfishing dad..Feels good to see a young mans face light up with a giant fish!!!!!!!

Hmm I didnt know they would let you shoot at holiday shores lake. I will have to check it out. Thats pretty cool though. I bet he will be telling that story for a while. Thats good to see.
My Uncle is the Lake manager out there....Jim Perotti. He is the one that nearly died being suck down the drain in the lake. If you guys need any info for the lake just let me know and I will ask my uncle.
