took out a newbie last night.......

....and look at what i shot. A big ol' grassie. I was very suprised. We were just cruisin along and then all of a sudden there she was just layin there. I wanted my buddy matt (newbie) to shoot it but he told me to, so i did and knocked her stone dead. Took some pictures and measured her. She is 41" long and has 35.5" girth. I am getting her weighed as we speak so i will know that shortly. Now will someone help me by telling me how to enter her in the IBC8.

It was the last species of fish i expected to see last night. But i took the shot while i had the chance. So again how do i enter this in the IBC8? sorry i had to change my length and girth my buddy messed them up.

Thanks alot. I love my work schedule because it leaves me with a lot of time to get out and shoot fish. This is the 4th grassie for me out of the Des Plaines. I plan on going out again sometime soon but not sure when, hopefully i will get some more nice fish.

And Johnny B she was 41 inches long, 35.5 inches girth, and she weighed 40 pounds after sitting in my fish tub all night. So just let me know what else you need for my entry.

Chris let me know when you plan on going out there, i will try to meet up with ya and get two boats out there to wack some more of these little pests.
