well after a lot of work for the last two weeks weldin on the new boat i stareted the motor swapin last monday. got the motors switched over and stared gettin everything gathered up. had lots of help friday and saturday from bill, kristina, joe and josh shelby, jeremy taylor and his wife, alex, and the shot in the dark boys, jeff andjosh. we gotthe boat runninbout dark but the pourin rain deterd almost all from stickin around forthe test ride. we me and alex are not easilydetered!! finaly bout midnight we took off to go putthe boat in the back water that is rising right by the house. we crestthe hill and water is everywhere. wellrather than back up in the dark i decide to go about 100 yds tosome tank batterys to turn around, the water only being 4 in deep. we went about 20 yds and drove offf in the ditch. well thats what 4x4 is for!!so we got stuck a little worse. ended up with water up to the passsenger arm rest and killed motor. well we still wanted to go boatin while my friend showed up with another truck to pullus out. we didnt have the plug in the boat yetso it was full of water. put plugs in and bailed out 500 gal of water. used the chain hoist thatwas still in truck to winch boat off the trailer. it worked slowly. fired up new boat and hold on!!! awesome ride. buddy showed up and pulled us out and we took himfor a ride. was pourin downrain so we couldnt se very well. hit some pipe in a field. polomar? isgud stuff!! just a scratch. decied to call it a night before we wrecked a boat also. the boat will run dry and dry load! that is cool as heck.

Trust me its not a good time I have been on several of these disasters with Joe and Alex I was just lucky enough not to be on this one.
ROTFLMAO...the only thing we (bowfishers) seem to learn from this is how to wreck more expensive "stuff".
Sheesh! and to think I was sad over breaking a troller prop, nav lights, trailer lights and a gennerator on one trip. Thanks for cheering me up Joseph.
I hope your insurance company doesn't treat you too bad.
