Calling All Boats/IL. Youth State Bowfishing Shoot

Hello to All:

We are trying to put together an Illinois Youth State Bowfishing Shoot at Evergreen Lake on Saturday, August 9, 2008 (Time-TBA). What I need now is for anybody to offer the usage of their bowfishing boat and be willing to take kids out for a portion of the day. Also, you don't need to have a boat to help out! There will be plenty of other things to help out with as well. If you are interested in helping out you can post a reply here or e-mail me at michael.steffa@mcleancountyil.gov.

We already have committments from the McLean County Sportsmen's Club for usage of their BB guns/targets for the BB gun range, and from the Lexington Sportsmen's Club for usage of their targets, and youth bows if needed for the archery range. Both sportsmen's clubs have also indicated that a few members would volunteer their time at this event.
