Clinton Lake Last Night (This morning)

Well "Deadeye" Drew talked me into to going to Clinton Lake last night. We launched from the West Side Launch and hit the coves to the north. We ended up shooting 23 fish (22 Commons & 1 Quillback). We went into one cove and saw five big buffs, but we whiffed on them. Overall we saw a pretty fair amount of fish. Water was fairly clear despite all the rain we had Friday. "Murphy" was with us in the boat, too. We had trouble with the trolling motor, the batteries, and the gas motor. Oh, and did I mention we forgot to bring a paddle? Let's just say it took us a while to get back to the ramp.[:@]

Side Note - You might think Drew and I were nippin' on the bottle, but we are pretty certain we say a bobcat last night! Here kitty, kitty.

Mike, sorry to hear about you and murphy. I hope you did not have problems with the battery you got from me. I am waiting on snuffy to stop by we are headed to the wabash for the first time this year.
