gettin ready to head out tonight. me and my dad are gonna shoot the Des Plaines tonight because i don't have school tomorrow. i hope i can put him on some fish since this is the first time he will be getting out at night this year. so i will keep you updated with pictures and what not.

ok well i got what i was hoping for. i put my dad right in the middle of the fish. i shot the first of the night and then he shot the second, which also happened to be our first gar of the year. then we went on to shoot a whole tub full and then some. my tub was packed with big carp and then we threw a bunch on the floor. it was a great night. not sure how many yet, but i will know how many in the morning.

Damn William, you guys are gonna shoot em all before i can get my boat done and out there! Nice full tub there buddy.

How's everything working on the boat? Looks like it's doing just fine. Mark's working on my little 6-horse outboard and I'm scrounging for a genny, so (hopefully) I'll be out there with you guys some night real soon.

Those fat females love to hang in that area this time of year.

There are some other areas nearby I want to visit again and new places to explore too. hope to get out with you guys and the Carp-enders soon.

...Oh, and make sure you renew your clubmembership and sign up for the IB8C if you haven't already. The heaviest carp of the year are often taken early before they dump their eggs, and you fish in a great spot for a shot at some $.

heres the update. i counted them all and we ended up with 36 all together. 31 commons, 4 buffs, and 1 gar. was an awesome night. tonight i think i'm gonna take my buddy jake out and let him shoot some.
