Well I am going to go out tonite and try to shoot the Des Plaines with my buddy Brandan, cough, cough, I think I'm gonna be sick on friday. hahahahahaha. So wish us luck as this is gonna be the first night trip of the year in my new boat. I hope we get some. And good luck to all of you who will be attending the Billy Davis tourney. If it doesn't start raining and the water isn't too muddy, should be an awesome night to go! Let us know.

It's perfect out right now, but they're calling for rain tonite. Good luck William, and don't push it. Those bones knit quick, but they're still weak. If you hurt it now, it'll take even longer to heal and it'll hurt more. Trust me, I know..

ok well it did not go as well as planned but we shot some fish. the water was a little muddy and the wind started to pick up as the night progressed. we started shooting at about 8:45 and when we started we went east along the shore from the boat launch all the way down and only seen one buff. so we decided to turn around and head west. as soon as we hit the west side of the launch we started seeing them. i shot the first and then my buddy brandan shot his very first carp on his third shot. he was pumped and so was i. then we saw about ten more and i shot the only other fish. so we ended up with three would have been more but the wind started to get rough and put a really bad chop on the water.we are going to try it again tonite if the rain holds off but i am not sure yet. so it was successful and now my night rig is broke in.

Hey, cool! Congrats to Brandon on his first. So is he hooked like everyone else after they're first or what?

That bigger one looks like it's mostly silver. Pretty clean looking carp.

Nice shootin'!

We went out again last night and did better. The water was still muddy because of the rain we got but we didn't care. We went up the dupage side again and i shot the only 8 fish we got, brandan couldn't hit them. Then i got a suprise , cruising the bank was a gar that had to be a good 4.5-5 feet long. AND I MISSED [:@][:@][:@]. But none the less the fish are there and once the water gets clearer it will be even better. I am gonna take some pictures and then i will post them.
