Default LOOKIN SLIM

Well our annual trip down to Ky before the Bill Davis Tournament is not looking too good. Got a email from Robow today and sounds like everything is flooded and muddy with more rain in the forecast. It will be nice to be able to do some scouting on Rend lake during the day time. I have yet to be on rend in the day time. Looks like we will have to plan a trip down to Ky in May or something. I have bought my season non-resident fishing license, so got to get down at least for 5 days to pay for it.

Yeah, the river is pretty tough with the water so high and muddy. Kind of scary too.

We'll probably just go to Rend early on Saturday and maybe do some scouting too. At least you guys won't be so tired.

We're planning to go to KY in May at least once, probably more, so I'm not to broke up about not hitting it next week.

johnny B "I have yet to be on rend in the day time."

Oh how quickly they forget, don't you remember about 5 years ago, you and I on Rend cutting across the widest deepest part of the lake on that sunnyWINDY day when my bow case containing a half dozen new arrows went flying off the back of the boat. WhenIfinally noticed it was no longer next to you, I circled back around to retreive my bow case that had not quite sunk yet in 40 ft of water but all my arrows had. Like I would forget that little gem. ha

Yes, i remember that day, but though it was on shelbyville. I am over 60 you know. Even if I have been on it, i do not remember a thing about it. Did we shoot any fish? Didnt we shoot it that night with Uncle Dave and Billy Davis?
