Default solved my problem

i broke my knuckle wednesday and can not pull my bow back but had an idea......how about spearing them from my boat. i can use my other hand and i have the stuff to do it. so what do you guys think, should i try it? please give me your input i am dying to get out after seeing the tub of fish Bulzeye pulled from the Des Plaines. so what do ya think.

why not I know at rend you could spear more than you could shoot. They are within a couple feet of the boat all night. I dont see why any place else would be different

I know of some guys that did pretty well spearing in a tournament (spearing was allowed in this tournament of course). Some areas of the Desplaines over there get so thick with carp that I've gone wacking them with the paddle. Now that's a good time!

There is a guy up at Wonder Lake that does that.
He does quite well.

I'm thinking of making some atlatl darts and using them down in KY for bigheads. Would be neat to get on video.

(when I'll have time to make atlatl darts... I have no idea)

UPDATE.....I found out i can shoot my bow with my release. That is awesome. If the rain holds off i will be out on the des plaines stickin some slimies this weekend. I can't wait. I finally get to use my lights and genny. It is gonna be wild. Good luck to all those at the Billy Davis tourney i hope you kill a bunch.
