Anybody up for hitting Clinton Lake this weekend?

Weather is iffy, but what else is new?

Johnny? Mikegofish? Anybody?

do you have to have an outboard on clinton? is it a big lake? would my 14 foot v-bottom be ok out there? night or day shoot? i am interested but dont know if my boat will be big enough.

Christine, I have been e-mailing kendall about saturday. Weather permitting I'm good just need to decide if it is day or night. Snuffy can make it at night. KBI Can make it if it is day. So you decide.

Suckersticker, Clinton is a pretty large lake and can get really choppy with a heavy wind or A lot of boats. This time of the year there will not be many speed boats and I do not think the wind will be bad. Last fall Snuffy and I were in my boat and we were not sure we were going to make it back. The waves were breaking over the bow, it was pretty hairy. If we put in the upper section at the penell ramp, it is a no wake area and you will have no problem. a motor would be nice tho.

ok thanks. i might make it i'm not sure. i dont want to make you guys launch somewhere else just because i have a small boat. so just let me know whats up and i will see. just let me know what you guys figure out. p.s. if anyone is looking for some company on their boat and has room i would like to join if ya would have me. so i guess i will see ya'll later.

Bill,the wind is what you need to watch for. If it's 10 mph or less, you should be fine.
We don't mind launching up on North Fork at all (the no wake area). We still don't have our new troller set up and we haven't tried the new outboard yet... otherwise we'd definitely invite you on our boat. We're going to work on the boat tomorrow (if the weather allows it).

Kendall is going to call you with more info.

Just talked to Kendall and it was decided to make it a day trip. Not sure where we will launch yet or what time to meet. I am going to get there around 9:30am.

thanks. i actually got some lights and a generator for my birthday. which is not till tomorrow but i got them today and i am going to work on them tomorrow. but either way just let me know whats up and i will try to make it. i am turning 18 on the 28th.
