Default Illinois Bowfishers at the ATA show

The IB was well represented at the ATA show in Indy.

Mark Land of Muzzy Products did a great job with the seminar. Too bad it was scheduled at 7:30 am ugh! As if I needed to be reminded that I'm not a morning person. [:'(]

Since it was in Indy of course Luke and Alex were there.

Dave White of Cajun Archery with Luke and Alex. Notice the Cajun display on the right. Anybody recongnize the guy in the top photo? Anybody recognize all three?

We Didn't get a picture of Scott Henslee of Bowfishing Extreme who was there also.

It was my first chance to meet Dave and Scott in person and it was a pleasure to talk bowfishing with them.

Then we were off to the AMS booth...

I brought my old retriever reel. Cindy and Jeff told me that it was one of the early models.
Jeff and Cindy were extremely busy and still took time to talk with us. Thanks.

Kevin Sullivan shows Christine the new Bowfishing bow made for Innerloc by Pearson.
It has a lot of nice features and is sure to be a hit.

But what really caught our eye was...

I can seewe will havea couple of these for our kids shooting booths. Made for Innerloc by Rhinehart targets, this thing is very realistic.

They also had a new head (sorry no pictures) that will be very popular the pro point is similar to the Muzzy head but with some nice features such as longer barbs that are bent close to the shaft.

Some other neat stuff we saw...

This was one ofmy favorites. Now if I can figure out how to make it work with our fish targets.

I got to see my old buddies Larry Fisher and Mark Veiwhig(sp) from TBM. Jason, make sure to give them crap about being seen at theTenpoint crossbow booth. j/k Larry.

You never know who you'll see! Team Pokaho were lookin' good in their team shirts.

Robin and Keith were there Friday.

We saw a good many things that we didn't get pictures of.
Debra Knoff and most of the Blue Ridge Backwoods Pro Staff were criss crossing the show.
We talked at length with Jeremy Leu of Rivers Edge Productions and Campbells Outdoors, but somehow never got a picture. While at the Scentblocker booth, Fred Eichler walked by, I said "Hi" and Fred stuck out his hand and asked how I'd been. We had a really good talk he asked how I'd been and said "Man, it's been a long time." and he walked away thinking "Who the he...ck was that?" I'm sure. He does seem like a great guy though and I'm sure he's had to perfect the art of talking with folks he didn't remember. Thanks for taking the time to talk with me.
And I even got a chance tobreifly talk withTodd Graff, Justin Zarr andJosh (?) of HuntingNet.com
Debra Knoff and most of the Blue Ridge Backwoods Pro Staff were criss crossing the show.

Many (if not all) of the arrow makers now have an adapter for lighted nocks. Firenock has a new design that looks great. Firenock's creator Dorge Huang gave us an excellentexplanation of how it works and demonstrated his knowledge of not only his product but all aspects of what is needed in a lighted nock.
We spoke with many Bow Manufacturers on why they needed to add a bowfishing bow to their line if they didn't already have one. We also talked with other reps about products that could and should be marketed to bowfishers.

There was sooooo much there that I couldn't tell you all we saw and we didn't nearly cover it all.
