Default Meeting?

Just was wondering when there is going to be a meeting? And Where. Would like to make it this time if I have time to plan on it. Would the elections be held then or do we do it over the net? Still chasing white tails. KBI-Prez and I seen 6 yesterday and 4 today. Had two nice bucks walk right across my front field yesterday evening, and i thought for sure that they had their tongues sticking out at me.

The ballots were going to be mailed out with the newsletter. Unfortunately, my desk top computer up and quit.

I haven't had time to even work on the 'puter, much less come up with another way of getting the ballots out or finishing the newsletter.

For a meeting, let me know what works better for everybody. Meeting sometime during (after hours) at the Fish and Feather Expo Jan 25-27. Or sometime during (after hours) the Deer and Turkey Classic, Feb 22-24.

I wish, but easily half of our members aren't registered here on huntingNet. Some of them don't go online at all. [:-][:-]

The deer and turkey classic would work best for me. I have company coming in from Montana in January. What about going to Deb's again so we can shoot too?

Earlier we had talked about the Saturday evening of the Deer and Turkey Classic and having a meal and meeting somewhere near there. Is that on or off? As far as the voting, let me know what help you need in getting the newsletter and ballot out. I am going to be in Heyworth, ILfor another meeting on Jan. 18th so let me know if we need to hook up later. I might be at the Fish andFeather on that Sunday as there is one seminar I would like to see but of course you never know about theweather at this time of year.

I'm all for the Saturday evening meeting during the deer classic. I just wanted to know what works for the most people. I'm pretty much open to most times. The Deer Classic time frame works well because a lot of people come up for it.

....and I'm typing this on the desk top computer. I took it all apart and replaced the power supply unit. Let me tell you, there are a lot of wires crammed into that tower. I'm amazed it works (knocking furiously on wood).

So... we can now try to crank out a newsletter and the ballots. Yay! (I'm so happy this thing is working again!)

BTW, anytime anybody wants to go shoot down at Blue Ridge let me know. I'm always looking for an excuse to head down there.
