Default Deer w/broken arrow

My friend shot this deer in November; the video of this deer was taken 3 days after it was shot.I think the deer will survive given the arrow's position. What do you think?

Note the decoy in the background - I think the buck was challenging it in this video.

Barring infection, it should survive. What broadhead was he using?
