If you missed it. You missed a great time with good food and better people.

Everyone was ready to dig in as soon as the food was ready.

Deer chilli and sloppy joes along with green bean casserole and several desserts and all the fixin's

Joanne was shooting a bow that was new to her. Luckily we had Deb togive herexpert instruction.

It was a rough job being the photographer.

The pressure was intense. NOT! notice the spiffy shooting glove.

If I could shoot like that, I'd smile too! Nice shootin Lou.

OK Maybe I do have something to smile about. (20 yds)

Deb won the first hand of "Bow" poker and picked this hunting vest complete with the IB logo embroidered on the left chest.

This is a scene from the interactive Techno hunt as seen on the monitor in the shop area.

Everyone has a chance to see if you made a sweet shot like this. Or something more like I shot.

There are several more photos that should have been taken and a few folks that didn't get into them. Sorry. Terry B. won the second "hand" of poker but we didn't get a photo of him with his prize.

Shooting, eating, more shooting, more eating, A short business meeting (yeah we tried to get some stuff accomplished ), more and more shooting with BSing throughout. My kinda night.

The Technohunt was such a blast! I can't wait toget back down there and shoot it again.

Thanks to Blue Ridge Backwoods and especially to Debra and Lou for staying as late as you did to let us have such a good time. It was awesome!

I was up in WI this weekend and thought about leaving yesterday morning and driving down for the party. But the weather said lots of freezing rain and ice, so I just stayed up north and killed a big old doe.

Still wish I could have made it to the party.

I made it down for the party too, but not until late.
Did the club meeting thing, and then beat Christine and Kendall in a round of Technohunt. Man, thatgame is addictive. I don't think I beat either of their high scores for the night, but I took the game we played together.

The trick must be to shoot against them when they are tired and full of venison chili. That was my strategy anyway.

Stayed at their place (thanks again) and crashed the RC chopper into various pieces of furniture before turning in. ...and yes, I turned on the coffee pot before I left in the AM. Hope they got up before it was cold.

The drive both ways was very icy and made for slow going and lots of blue goop on the windows. Made it fine, but there were a few interesting moments. The ditches along hwy 55 looked like a used car lot after a tornado.

Glad you made it down Chris. The weather was pretty treacherous. I know several of our members were out working to try and keep the roads clear. JohnnyB called around midnight to say he was finally done salting roads.

I'd sayI let you win the technohunt, butI was trying to beat you. I was pretty tired tho'. [excuse] I did a lot better the first round when I playedwith Kendall and Lou. I managed to tiewith Lou. (of course Lou was having a bad round) I think it was Dave's Illinois Bowfisher poker that wore me out. It's amazing how evasive those cards can be at 20 yards.

We need to get back there and play for a full hour straight. (yikes, hurts just thinking about it) I love that game.
(I still laugh when I think about Kendall 'meeping' to stop the one buck on the video. LOL)

Another bigh thanks to Deb and Lou and Blue Ridge Backwoods!

Bob, we're looking forward to heading down south as soon as possible.

Yeah...well it worked didn't it?

Thanks to all who braved the weather. Sorry for all that couldn't. We missed you.

That was so funny. If I remember correctly, I screwed up my next shot because I couldn't stop laughing in time. That was great. Wish I could have been there all night.
