Well it took Snuffy and I, 257 miles but we finally got his grand daughter into her first fish. First we started out over at the wabash river (15 miles) from my house. The fish were all down in Terre Haute, because we never seen any. So we drove down to a nice lake down below Terre Haute (90 miles). We had a nice boat ride there and a few shots. So then we hopped over to Turtle Creek power plant lake to try that. (19 miles). Got there at 3pm so that cut the day short. Managed to start seeing some fish. Kirsten had two pull off's and finally got a pass through and got that one in the boat. Weighed 4# 1oz. Need less to say she was pumped. So then we got to reverse all that and drive home. Got home at 8:30pm. If you want to shoot a lot of arrows and a lot of carp, give turtle creek a try. There is a launch fee except for Carp bowfishermen. They welcome you with open arms.
