Default Shot 9....

...commons in an hour and a half. Just wanted to share, since I haven't shot any in a while. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h188/bowman55/10fromthecreek.jpg?t=1188522171

And I also got a nice mirror-carp. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h188/bowman55/mirror-carp.jpg?t=1188522060

Hey Mr Sore-shoulder. Didn't I pass you on the road yesterday?
You didn't tell me you weregoing bowfishing, I would have come over.
(I'm still up here in Chicago-soggy-land.Tomorrow I think I'm going to crash Jason's house.)

Anyhow, what was the last thing that went through that carp's mind? ......Fiberglass! Nice shot. I'm sure it never felt a thing.

Hey Mr Sore-shoulder.

That's why I used the compound, and only shot 10 fish.

I just went down by the dam to look around, and I saw these things cruising around. It was kinda like stand-hunting. I stood in one spot and just waited for them to get close enough for a shot. It was probably the easiest 10 fish I've shot!

Funny thing; the first fish I shot, the loop on my safety-slide broke, so I got to watch my arrow swim around below the dam for about 10 minutes until it finally disappeared. I just put that slide on too.

Give me a call and I'll meet you somewhere and take you down by the dam.

Steve, Nice shooting. Looks like some nice fish. Last weekend at Shelbyville, we did not shoot a carp over 4#.

Nice mirror carp! I think they are the most attractive of all of the carp. Are you having it mounted?!
