Default Sign-up for the HNI deer contest

I know not everybody is into competition in hunting or fishing, but HNI has a nice online archery deer contest. Sign up now if you're interested. (it's to almost 300 people already)

It's a bragging rights, fun thing. There is no entry fee andno big cash prizes or anything like that. HNI has given out gift cards and shirts to past winners.

If you sign up, you'll be put on a team. The team with the most points wins.

I know some of Illinois Bowfishers are pretty good at bagging the big bucks so hopefully you'll be put on the same team as me. (which is good for me, but bad for you.. ) Last year I didn't enter a buck and the year before I got a 69" monster. ha.

I'm tempted, but I have no consistant hope of getting anything to compete with, hunting public-land and all. Maybe I will, just the same. I saw last year folks were having a blast online here, ribbin' each other and entering their kills. It looked like alot of fun.

Is it just bowhunting, gun hunting, or both with seperate divisions or what?

Steve, I don't have much hope of getting a decent buck (or any buck) either... but that's not stopping me from weighing some team down. heh heh. Go ahead and sign up.

Chris, the link I posted is for archery only. They usually get a gun hunt contest going too. Archer's Choice has a guys vs girls contest for all weapons. The HNI deer (archery) contest is the biggest of the bunch.

Thanks.
