I'll be there, either with my partner, or my own boat (like to get more boats out there), but I'll be there.

So does that mean I should make Christine bring her canoe.

Been talking to Snuffy, We might try the trip. For our part looks like we will have to leave at 2:30am to get there in time. On a good note traffic should not be too bad at that hour. Will be a little different competing against Chezhead.

Absolutely! But it might make for a miserable ride home for you.

I don't know. Itty bitty boats have an advantage up there.
At the spring shoot in June I was able to cruise right past (push-pole actually)a half dozen bigger boats who couldn't get in the shallows. They had to sit and watch while I cleaned up on a whole school of carp not more than 40 yards from where they would get stuck. The winners for most fish and biggest fish were 2 guys in a 10 foot jon boat.

Waders don't even help since the muck is over a foot thick -way too dangerous.

I'll probably be there in the Fall too, but I have no room for a partner. [>:]

Actually I think it would be cool to have a bunch of us compete as individuals.

I'm game to go out in the canoe. (just don't laugh at me too loudly... you might spook the fish.)
