Mikey and Drew went over to Evergreen. Kendall and I took out our charity donated trip winners Ken and Brian to Dawson Lake. At Dawson we met up the with the 'Clark' boat.

Since both Matt's crew and the CIRFCU crew were made up of four shooters with a newbie each we put in friendly wager for the outing.
Matt's boat is very sweet. I'll get a picture on here.
Ken went from bowfishing newbie last year to now having his own bowfishing gear and setting up a bowfishing boat. Who says this sport is addicting?
His buddy Brian was a newbie. Even tho' the bowfishing out at Dawson was tough. (where'd all the carp go?) It wasn't long before he was flinging fiberglass. He ended up with a nice 10 lb 4oz carp. Biggest of the five carp we shot there.
The two boats met back at the ramp at 11pm. Matt's crew bested us by one carp and two ounces for big fish. [:-]
It was decided we should then head for Clinton Lake.
We launched from the West launch. I'm not sure wherethe Clark crew went. (we stopped for coffee, us old people need coffee) [&o]
Anyhow, we got into the coves and out of the wind and found a fair number of carp. We couldn't hardly hit the darn things, but we did end up with a barrel full.
(I think we got Brian hooked.. heh heh)
Mikey and Drew shot4quillbacks and 5 carp. They quit at midnight due to the wind.
Anybody else out there last night/this morning?
