Default Muzzy Classic

Well, after having some outboard issues at Rend Lake we had to take the mighty CIRFCU to a boat place (Klauser Marine) in Shelbyville for repairs. Kendall did a 200 mile round-trip jaunt to drop it off. Yesterday we packed up and went to pick it up. We didn't leave the shop until 6pm. []

Anyhow... we are now somewhere in TN. Murphysboro I think. Can't be too far to the Muzzy starting point (Scottsboro, AL).

Did I mention we blew a tire on the boat trailer? [:-]

We almost stopped at the KY dam to shoot bigheads but we figured we'd stay there all night and we probably should get our 'beauty' rest.

Haven't seen any other bowfishing rigs yet. The Illinois Bowfishers should be having three teams down at the Muzzy Classic. (Indy Boys/Slim, Team Waynesville and the CIRFCU)

Okay, time to guzzle coffee and hit the road again.

More updates later.

How 'bout these....

Of course they are too big to fit in the picture. One was 73#

We've gotten to see all kinds of rigs and set-ups.

More later...

Yikes!
Might have to turn on the outboard to fight some of those.
