Default Trophies and Behind the Scenes

The club is making trophies again for the Billy Davis Memorial Tournament and the Illinois Bowfishing State Championship. The are really looking great again this year. Larry McGuire again has done a great job on cutting out the plaques and Kendall is woking on the arrows for the plaques. The State Tournamenttrophy is really going to be nice. Can't wait to hang it on my wall.

Thanks Larry and Kendall for you contribution and time to the club. Christine is putting in a lot of time mailing out fliers and taking care of paper work. Rob is taking care of membership,Billy K is gurading our funds and JohnnyB is carefully watching my points in the IB7C tournament.

Its guys like you that make me proud to say that I am member of the Illinois Bowfishers.

They all do too much for us, including you Uncle Dave! I love being an Illinois Bowfisher!

I suppose if you ask nicely I'll let you borrow it now and then.

I chatted with Larry at the Deer Classic show, and he showed me a partial prototype of the trophy plaques for the state championship, and I can vouch for the quality. They are definitely worth shooting an extra fish or two.

Kudos to everyone who helps out at events and during the planning.
It really is quite eye-opening just how much work goes into the stuff the club is doing. It takes a good team, not just one person.
