Should be nice with evening temps staying in the 60s and almost no wind.
Showers should be light, if any. This monster low pressure system that's been slowly crawling across the plains looks like it will start heading northeastward and keep the heavy rain from most of IL until Saturday.

This thing is huge. It's been taking moist gulf air, turning it into powerful supercell thunderstorms and lethal tornadoes in the southwest, dumping big rain in the plains, and making blizzards up in Montana. All the winds in the U.S. have been affected by this system for days. I can't remember tha last time we've had strong easterly winds for3 days straight, with more to come. It looks like your timing will be good though, and you'll sneak in your outing just before it gets here.

Enjoy watching the new guy's face when he hooks intoa fishfor the first time. They light up like fireflies.

Just a hobby.
I'd be out chasing storms if the wife wouldn't object.

Go gettem Todd, Not sure if we will be able to get out this week as we are headed back to Iowa for next weekend. Of course the boat is going with me. Talking of Iowa, I had to bite the bullet the other night and get my Illinois sportsman license, NR. Indiana, NR. Kentucky and NR. Iowa licenses ouch. KY went up to $50. Sure are proud of their fish. But I will put all of them to good use for sure...
