Default Still at it!

Well this morning I was sitting in the office in my long john's and house slippers. Looked out the window, and there was another coyote on what's left of my deer carcess. He was too far over to my left and out of my shooting lane, so I had to slip outside and was able to get to the cloths' line pole. One 110 gr v-max he was on the ground. Seems like i just grazed his chest but enough to really open him up. Any how had to drive down in bronco and put a .22 mag between the eyes to fininsh him off. Nice young male. not near as big as the last one..KBI-Prez is eating his heart out. he has not got to wack anything. On Saturday him and snuffy are coming out to have at it on some crows..clinton lake is looking better and better. this really gets the juices going

I can just see you riding out to finish that little bugger in your undies and slippers. The picture in my head is just too funny.

Aren't you supposed to reel them in with your bowfishing gear?

Nice shootin' Johnny. That's even better than whacken carp.

Are you handloading your .270 rounds? I used to try a 90gr TNT hollow point bullet out of my Remington but that gun just would not group well with anything I tried.

Sorry HNI_Justin.

Mr. Carpsniper,
Yep, I have been hand loading since I was a kid. My dad was the president of the Danville rifle and pistol club. My first center fire was a old *** 7.7 i got when i was in the 8th grade. Well any how I use to use 100 gr. speer hollow points that shoot and group well and bow up good. Also the 100 gr. hornaday soft point. It did not group near as well but blew up a lot better. For a few years I shot 90 gr hollow points, but never did like them. A few years back switched to the 110 gr V-Max and really like them. In fact I need to get some more bullets as I only have a bow or two left. Ole Chezhead and I both inheitered my dad's gun collection and when she comes down nothing is safe..

Looks like there is not much that is safe anytime you decide to point that .270 at it. Nice shootin'
I haven't been set up to reload for a while. I like it almost as much as shooting. almost!
