Default Jacob's creek again

Took a newbi out to Jacobs creek yesterday. The fish were there but as usual was too windy to see very well. I managed to wack one pretty nice one in the 8# range. He missed all his, but was shooting my back up equiptment and just could not get the aim low deal. But is hooked. He kept telling me how much fun it it. Seems like archers like to shoot their bows at stuff.

You are truly a "Bowfisher of Men". You have found out as I did several years ago that shooting at fish is more fun than shooting deer. When I would be deer hunting, sittingin my climber waiting for a deer to comeby, all I could think aboutwas how many fish I might be missing today if only I had gone bowfishing. I think Robow discovered this last year or finally realized what I was talking about. Now you have discovered this truly great sport to the max. Hope the word doesn't get out to the rest of the deer hunters or there would be no place to shoot fish without rubbing elbows with 100's of othere bowfishers.
Congrads on a nice late in December Carp.

Good fish.

I do think about bowfishing while in the deer stand myself, but I just can't tear myself away from the smell of venison on the grill....yet.

Way to go taking the new guy out.
