Carp Recipe
This is the best recipe that I know of for cooking carp:
- 5 to 10 lb carp fillets
- salt and pepper
- vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced in rings
- lemon wedges
- newspaper (don't laugh, this works)
- aluminum foil
Combine carp fillets with the onion rings and enough salt and peper to taste. Wrap the fillets in newspaper and then in the aluminum foil. Coat a cookie sheet with oil and place fish on cookie sheet. Cook for 35 min. @325 in the center of oven.
Remove fish from oven,unwrapthe aluminumfoil, toss the carp away and eat the newspaper!
