Took a quick trip over to Jacob's creek in indiana this morning. It has been a long time that I had problems with the water too clear. I finally got a 5#, 8#, 10#, 13.5# and a even 14#. There were some real dandys crusing around. Several times I would have at least 10 carp and none looked smaller than 10#. But they were deep. I figure 3-4 feet. I could watch the arrow just fly right over them. I finally was aiming at least 3 feet below them to have a chance. After awile I started trophy shooting. It was such a blast I could get several shots before they knew what was happening. Then I would just walk down about a 100 yds and start all over again. There were just these nice big carp everywhere. They finally got spooky and I started to have to slip up on them. Did have two pull off's. Have been trying to get there all summer, and every time I wanted to go it had just rained. This is a small creek 15 yds across that runs through farm country, and the least little bit of rain really clouds it up. Cant wait to go again. Christine is suppose to post the pictures for me.
