Default 230"+ whitetail shot in Illinois by Iraq vet...awesome

I sure as hell don't see 230 inches on that buck.

Thats a monster deer, no doubt....4 or 5 drop tines!!! but I don't think it's 230" unless it has another antler growing out the back of its head that we can't see. Looking at the size of that monster, I WOULD believe 230 pounds or more. Awsome deer, no matter what it scores!

just talked with Matt again (owner of Backwoods Outfitters) and he said this buck had 28 scoreable points. he's a pretty honest guy and they have no reason to lie about the size. especially since they have a few magazines that want the story already. congrats to Chris, a well-deserving Warrior!!!

I am glad no one else sees 230 inches because I sure don't. I do not want to take anything away from that deer though. That is an absolute monster and I am glad a veteran was able to take him.
