This is the deer that I shot last month during firearms season here in Unit 16. We green scored him at 197 1/2. I got him on a different farm about 25 miles from where you would be hunting, but it does give you an idea of the size of deer we have here in Unit 16. I will try and post some recent trail cam pictures that we have here at NorthBridge Outdoor Adventures as well.

Here are some trail cam pics here at NorthBridge from this past season. These deer are still alive and we hope will be even bigger next year. I could only post a few pics even though we have many sightings of these bucks. I even put one picture of some quail on here. Enjoy!

I am taking $250 off all deer hunting prices above, and kids under 18 can hunt for an additional $300 off these prices mentioned below. Therefore Firearms guided hunts are now $3000 and $2500 for semi-guided. Archery is $2750 guided and $2250 semi-guided. Kids under 18 must be accompanied by an adult on semi-guided hunts. Adults not hunting and just accompanying their kid will not be charged.

Default Mule Deer Hunting

I believe that non residents can hunt mule deer in unit 16, but they must draw an archery or muzzleloader permit for whiletail first. This is the way I understand it. Here is the link to the wildlife and parks, look under Schedule B. http://kdwp.state.ks.us/news/Hunting...-and-Fees/Deer

However, the majority of our mule deer are in Unit 17.

Hope this helps clarify things.
