YOU WILL SEE LOTS OF TURKEYS ON THIS HUNT, WITH 100% SUCCESS OVER THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A MERRIAMS TURKEY TO HELP FILL YOUR SLAM, THIS IS A GREAT HUNT FOR YOU. COST OF THE COLORADO HUNT IS 750.00 PER PERSON AND INCLUDES MEALS, LODGING, GUIDE AND TRANSPORTATION AROUND THE PROPERTY. THE NEBRASKA HUNT TAKES PLACE IN SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA. THIS HUNT ALLOWS THE TAKING OF TWO BIRDS, ONE MERRIAMS AND ONE RIO GRANDE, SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR TWO BIRDS TO FILL YOUR SLAM, THIS IS ONE TO LOOK AT, WITH 100% SUCCESS ON ONE BIRD AND 95% ON TWO BIRDS. I might be interested in the Nebraska hunt, I am trying to fill my slam with both a Rio and a Meriam. Where would I fly into for that hunt and how long is the hunt, also how far is the hunt from the town.

I would say that the nearest place to fly into would be Denver. From their, it is probably a 2.5 hour drive to southwest Nebraska. I don't believe there is anything closer than that, but I can check for you. The hunt takes placenear the town of McCook, Nebraska, in the most southwestern part of the state, not alot out their. The hunt is 3 days long, with the option to stay longer if needed. They are 100% on one bird and 95% on two birds as far as success goes. They have both merriams and rios in this area, so your chances are very, very good that you will fill that part of the slam on one hunt.
