Default DEER PHOTOS FROM 2008

WOODLAND GUIDES[/b]
North East Kansas and North West Kansas
Whitetail, Muledeer

We have privately owned, and private leased land in north east Kansas with spectacular whitetail deer hunting in some of the most diverse terrain Kansas has to offer. We have hunting opportunities on land ranging from high hills with thick wooded draws, to evergreen forests next to crop fields, crp land, many river bottom properties, as well as thick hardwood land. Our hunters choose from fully guided hunting for trophy animals ranging from 130 to 200 inches with lodging includedto "do it yourself" hunting for the same size of animals with the hunter being his own guide. There are no trophy fees as we encourage our hunter to shoot the larger deer on our properties. This last year"s fully guided hunters shot deer ranging from 140 to 160 inches. Our success rates have been maintainedextremely high as only one hunter did not shoot a deer last year though he had missed some great opportunities at what would have been our biggest buck.

Our "do it yourself" land is a much cheaper hunt providing hunters with trophy possibilities on some newly leased land and old guiding land. There will be certain rules per property to help the hunters continually hunt larger deer. As an example, we have sanctuary areas (no walk, no hunt) that keep our deer from going nocturnal as well as keeping the older 150 to 200 inch bucks on the property for our hunters to always enjoy great hunting for deer with more age to them. We also only allow a certain amount of hunters to hunt the lands, giving the land a lot of down time between hunts.

As a valid guide service we always prove what we have every year to our hunters to show them what kind of deer they may be hunting and what to look for. I show trail cam photos on our land every year of deer in the 140 to 200 inch range. We also provide the hunters with references on request to past hunter who have or have not killed something to give you an honest opinion of what the hunting is like with us. You will also be able to look us up online at woodlandguides.com to find out more information about us.

For more information and to talk to a knowledgeable guide, contact Terry Berndt at 785-539-6399.

thanks;
Victor Martin

sorry for the sideways picture, this buck was shot by a hunter after sleeping on the ground and wakeing up to the buck walking infront of him. the buck heard mike draw his bow so the buck walked right up to mike to investigate and was shot in the neck. mike was so close to the deer when he shot that the arrow went in the neck and came out the top of the back.

there are many more photos from trail cameras and more killed deer from this yearavailable on request as well as refrences.
