Always call references. Any outfitter worth his salt will supply numbers from both successful and unsuccessfull hunters for you to talk with. Alot of outfitters can talk a good game on the phone and are good at selling themselves. Location is very imprtant in Kansas. Make sure there lands are on the big creeks or rivers, that where the big bucks are. All should have a website with plenty of pictures but don't let fancy pages full you. Great lodging is always a plus with good food. Motels also work but usually means the outfitter is not very well established. Spend your money wishly, theres good ones out there but theres also a bunch of overnighters who will screw you. After you've looked around, check out
