Default any opinions on deer hunting in east texas (san augustine, bronson)

i found a lease that has 3550 acres. we have about 32 people right now and maybe another 10 later. i have never hunted in this part of east texas. i have 1/2 protein and 1/2 corn i my feeder right now. feel free to leave any responses, questions on how to hunt there or make it better. i have heard that there is a lot of hogs also. but the one thing that bothers me the most is that the guys run dogs in the off season but stop in sept and dont start again till feb.they say it dont bother them.
