Your Hosts[/b]:
Phillip John (PJ) and Phillip Martinez have been hunting and guiding in this area of New Mexico for over ten years. They have lived and worked in and around their hunt units and are extremely familiar with the area and with the wildlife there. This enables them to be fully prepared for their hunts.
They hire local guides and all are licensed with the state of New Mexico. They are the only local outfitter in the area and their goal is to put hunters on quality animals and provide them with an unforgettable hunting experience.
Hunting:[/b] All hunts are fully guided. A typical day of hunting consists of two hunts, morning and an afternoon hunt. You will be awaken early in the morning and have a home cooked breakfast and be out to start your hunt ½ hour before sunrise. You will hunt previously scouted areas and break for lunch and a nap. The afternoon hunt will begin before the game begins moving for the evening. We will sometimes stay out all day but prefer not to disturb animals in their bedding areas. If they are pressured while bedding they will leave the area and will be harder to find. We hunt by accessing game areas with 4 wheel drive pickups and hunting on foot with ATV"™s for game retrieval.
Pricing:[/b] Hunt prices will vary depending on whether or not you have your own tags or if we will be providing landowner tags.
Types of Game Offered[/b]: Elk both Cow and Bull/Mule Deer/Oryx/Turkey
Public or Private Land: Both, Mostly Public U.S. Forest Service & BLM
We encourage hunters to apply for tags, we will have some landowners tags available.

Services[/b]:
Meals: All meals are homemade.
Trophy Care: We use local taxidermists and meat processors. This is at hunter"™s expense. We will deliver meat to processor or taxidermist.
Transportation to and from stands: We provide all in-between transportation.
Pick up and local airport: We will pick up hunters at Albuquerque International Airport.
Accommodations:[/b] Modern lodge 3 bedroom with all the amenities of home.
General:[/b] We prefer to keep our groups to 4-6 hunters to be able to tend to each hunter.
We offer hunts for elk, mule deer, oryx (free range), and turkey. We live year round in the areas that we outfit in. We will work hard to ensure that you have a fun and memorable hunt. We are Licensed and insured with the state of New Mexico to conduct guiding and outfitting services.
