I have hunted with several outfitters over the last 17 years, the last 4 I have hunted with a great outfitter. They are as honest as they come, and their prices are very reasonable. They will really work with you, which was something I really needed in an outfitter. I'v killed 3 out of the 4 years and it should have been 4 of 4. You may want to look at Bar H Outfitters in Col. We have hunted with them (3) times and are booked thru 2010. In 2004 went 3-5 2006 went 5-5 2007 2-3. We see tons of elk. There unit in notknown for trophy bulls but that is not an issue with us. We just do drop camps, pack in about 4-5 miles. Have never seen another hunter. All of there equipment is in top notch condition. If you look at there website they are almost full this year and part of 09, almost all repeat hunters.They treat you very well from start to finish, no hidden surprises.
