I am wondering where the best place would be to go to lease out my farm. I have 211 acres in Southern Indiana near Madison in Jefferson County. I would estimate that 70 acres are fields and the other 140 is woods.We are fruit and vegetable farmers so the deer on our farm are very large in numbers. We also have large amounts of turkey and some of the best rabbitt, squirrel, and coon hunting anywhere. Also on our farm we have a lake that is stocked with bass, bluegill, catfish, and crappie. We're talking possible state record fish in here. It was stocked in 84' and therehas been very little fishing what so ever. However you need a boat to fish it. Since we are fruit & Vegetable farmers we often get depredation permits to kill deer out of season. Usually as soon as deer season is over we get 10 tags at a time all the way until deer season opens again. when those 10 are filled we get 10 more, unlimited hunting.So you can kill as many as you want. We have excellent places for campers, or a building, or a cabin or whatever you prefer. The person would have exclusive rights to all hunting and fishing with the exception of my family and I. We are willing to do the lease at anytime so if you need a place for this year now is the time. We will do it on a yearly basis up to 5 years at a time. If you would like to discuss it.
