First Elk & Mule Deer Hunt

Hey everyone - I am new to the forum, but looks like I will be back alot. Great site.

I would like to get everyone's opinion - I am getting ready to plan my first Elk & Mule Deer hunt. Wanted to see if you guys could recommend what State should I look at as well as any great guides/outfitters.

I look forward to talking to everyone. If you are ever in Georgia give me a shout.

Are you planning on an archery or firearm hunt? Some states have over the counter tags but more and more are going to a draw system. Outfitters offer fully guided, semi-guided and drop camp hunts. Depending on your overall hunt experience you may want to go fully guided on your first hunt but they are more expensive.

If you know what type of hunt you want, how many days you can hunt and a budget I can get pricing from several outfitters and get back to you.

They still have a few openings.

I can do combo hunts for elk and mulies as well as antelope for next year. Tags have already gone for deer and antelope in my areas for this year but elk and does antelope are still available for this year. Let me know if interested and I'll give more info.
