looking for a deer hunt

for this fall. muzzleloader or rifle. want a realistic chance at a 140 class buck. interested in anywhere except texas (prefer a big-bodied deer). 3-4 hunters.

Check out www.mwspllc.com as i went there last year and saw several nice bucks. Unfortunately I shot a buck that i thought was bigger than it was and had to watch a 160 class walk by me at 15 yards later. I know he still had some openings left.

The caterer is a great cook we have used.The B&B is $20 a person per night which includes breakfast. The butcher/meat locker is 3 blocks. We have 160 class and much larger. I was talking to a nearby southern Ia. outfitter recently who has imposed a fine of $2000. for anyone shooting a deer smaller than 135. We haven't gone that far, but prefer that everyone takes a larger deer. Since Missouri imposed their antler point restriction a few years back, a 140+ deer is pretty common. A fellow I met from Alabama recently, takes nothing less than a 170+ deer on his local property. www.hiddenvalleyhuntingllc.com We have hunting land just a mile south of the southern Iowa border and the same deer. But we're not restricted to shotguns.
